Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively seeking a Bilingual Senior Accountant to join a thriving team. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who is proficient in both English and Spanish, with a strong background in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Conduct quarterly audits to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable staff.
  • Handle ad-hoc financial requests and reporting.
  • Manage accruals and perform financial analysis.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist the CFO with special reporting projects.
  • Collaborate with external CPA firms for auditing purposes.
  • Perform financial auditing and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and manage forecasting and budgeting processes.

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel occasionally to South America.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Prior experience with ERP Accounting Software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and hands-on accounting experience.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Former public accounting experience highly preferred.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
